Sea Things, an installation by Sam Jacob Studio was commissioned by London Design Festival and SAP. The project is an impactful call to rethink our relationship to plastic and the environment.
It includes an animation created with Rory Cahill, that reflects the change in our oceans “representing a timescale from 1900 – the beginnings of industrialised use of plastics – to 2050 – the date the MacArthur Foundation forecasts the oceans will contain an equal amount of plastic waste to marine life if we do not change our systems and behaviours.”
