Bantam Materials UK Ltd is at the forefront of industry regulatory compliance and has built up an unrivalled legislation knowledge to ensure conformance to all EU & UK laws required for importing from outside of the EU to multiple regions.

In collaboration with external consultants including the ex-Director of PETCORE, Head Professor of Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Materials Chemistry and Food Packaging at the University of Zaragoza, and Regulatory Affairs Specialist Director at PETKONSEPT, we ensure all of our material is fit for purpose, conduct regular NIAS and SVHC testing and confirm all our material exceeds EFSA requirements of 95% for food contact safety.

All Prevented Ocean Plastic™ material is complaint with relevant UK and EU regulations, including- 1935/2004, 10/2011, 1616/2023 and 282/2011 and is suitable for food contact, fibre and pharma.

Traceability is one of the strengths of the Prevented Ocean Plastic Programme. The Programme has created a system of traceability including third-party certification. Our supply chain is subject to numerous successful industry audits and spot checks.
