
Not every piece of plastic waste retrieved from beaches and shorelines can be recycled and therefore beach clean-ups remain vital. The Surfrider’s Foundation Plastic Pollution Initiative unites volunteers across the United States, who come together to remove plastic waste from their local beaches. They recently published their 2019 findings from their Beach Clean-up Program.
